This app has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or payment information, because the app never asks for them.
Two things are personal to you: your approximate location, used to calculate prayer times, and any flight details you choose to enter. Neither is kept on our servers, and your flight details never leave your phone at all.
If you allow it, the app reads your device's approximate location and uses it to calculate prayer times for where you are. Those coordinates are sent to the Aladhan prayer times service (aladhan.com) to perform that calculation.
Your location is not sent anywhere else, is not stored on our servers, and is not linked to you. Your most recent location is kept on your own device so prayer times still work when you have no signal.
You can refuse the location permission, or withdraw it later in your device settings. The app keeps working: prayer times are then calculated for Makkah instead, and the screen says which place the times are for.
The following never leaves your phone and is not visible to us or to anyone else:
The Departures screen lets you save your own flights so you can see your times and route in one place. What you type is stored on your phone and nowhere else — we never receive it, it is not sent to Firebase, and it is not shared with the airline or anyone else.
The app does not look your flight up, so it shows what you entered rather than live status. Deleting a saved flight removes it from your device, and uninstalling the app removes all of it.
The itinerary, duas and ziyarat, the hadith of the day, guide articles, hotels and contacts are downloaded from Google Firebase, which hosts them for us. The app only reads this content — it never sends anything back, and there is nothing in it about you.
As with any internet request, Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address in order to serve the content. We do not receive or keep that information.
The app is intended for travellers on our trips and their families, and is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be communicated to travellers directly.
